Description:
The three-phase power source with inverter technology for metal plasma cutting, THUNDER CUT 50, has been designed for the professional manual cutting sector and offers maximum performance and optimised processing times.
Cutting thicknesses are high in relation to delivered current.
The recommended cutting thickness on steel is from 15 mm to 22 mm. The separation thickness is 30 mm. The max. piercing is 10 mm.
The lack of High-Frequency start makes it possible to work next to computers, medical equipment, instruments and any other electronic devices sensitive to high frequency emissions.
It can be connected to motor-driven generators of adequate power.
Various technical features are available to speed up cutting operations:
• the new ESA Fast connector that allows the torch to be connected and disconnected quickly, no tools are needed;
• the practical quick coupling of the pressure regulator;
• a single knob for fine-tuning the cutting current quickly;
• a single ECF-121 torch for all THUNDER CUT power sources, which is combined with various consumables kits suitable for the different power sources;
• the possibility of interrupting the post-gas function to quickly replace exhausted consumables.
We would also like to highlight the new graphics of the front panel and stickers, in particular the upper sticker that guides the user in the choice and installation of the different types of torch spare parts that can be used.
In addition, the new design has improved safety standards and measures to reduce energy consumption.
Its standard equipment includes:
• a 6 metre-long hand torch ECF-121,
• a suitable Starting Kit of consumables,
• a grounding cable.
