Description:
COMBO PRO MIG 426 is a three-phase multi-process inverter power source, able to weld alternately in MIG/MAG, MMA or DC TIG (“lift” start) mode with separate wire feed unit. It is suitable for various applications, in particular for medium and heavy metal works.
It’s ready for torch water cooling and is supplied complete with trolley for the transport.
The cooling unit and the double pulse function upgrade are available on request as optional.
• Equipped with new graphic interface with 4.3” high-resolution color display.
• TIG welding with start by “lift” contact.
• Possibility of pulsed TIG welding.
• Suitable to weld in MMA-SMAW mode both rutile and basic electrodes.
• It can be connected to motor-driven generators of adequate power.
• Equipped with EURO type connection for MIG/MAG and TIG torches.
• Possibility to activate a security password.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS IN MIG/MAG
• Exceptionally good arc stability at low amp rating.
• Synergic control, that permits to control the welding conditions through just one variable, all the others being preset and dependent on this.
• Equipped with a 4-roller (D. 30 mm) wire feeder for an optimal wire feeding. Replacement of rollers without tools.
• Provided with a wide range of synergic curves (short and pulse) for solid wire.
• The DOUBLE PULSE function, available as an optional, facilitates the welding of thin materials without deformations or in particular conditions.
• Synergic programs for steel allow working with either mixed gasses Ar+8/18/25%CO2 or 100% CO2.
• Selecting the manual working mode, it’s possible to modify the welding parameters.
• Possibility to use wire reels up to D. 300 mm, 15 kg.
• The wide display allows the operator to select and easily set the various welding modes and options. Furthermore, it gives the possibility to have always the clear indication of the current welding parameters (selected process, type and diameter of the used wire, shielding gas, voltage, current, wire speed and material thickness).
• The adjustable welding options are: Arc Length, short or pulsed (optional) welding process, 2 times / 4 times, Spot Time, Pause Time, Inductance, Burn Back, Soft Start, pre-gas, post gas, Automatic Hot Start, Automatic Crater Filler and 3 levels.
