Description:
The single-phase multipurpose inverter power source, model MULTIWELD 236 SYNERGIC, is suitable for welding alternately in MIG/MAG, MMA (stick electrode) and DC TIG (“lift” start) mode. It has a compact design, low weight and, with a welding current of 220A, allows to weld wires up to a diameter of 1,2mm. It can be fed by motor-driven generators with electronic regulation of the tension, a power equal to or greater than 7 kVA and not delivering a voltage greater than 260V RMS.
Thanks to all these characteristics, it’s an ideal machine for maintenance, repair, installation and on site welding, but also for workshop works requiring versatility of use.
• Equipped with 2 displays that show the amps and voltage and the welding process selected.
• Equipped with EURO type connection for MIG/MAG and TIG torches.
• TIG welding with start by "lift" contact.
• Suitable to weld in MMA-SMAW mode both rutile and basic electrodes.
• It's equipped with PFC (Power Factor Correction) device to reduce and stabilize the power absorption.
• Possibility to activate a security PASSWORD.
• It’s available, on request, a kit for 15 kg Ø 300 mm wire reels.
In the MIG/MAG mode:
• it is possible to select a synergic program according to the wire type and diameter as well as the shielding gas to be used;
• it has curves optimized for steel, stainless steel, aluminium, MIG brazing and flux cored wire. It’s possible to store new programs;
• synergic programs for steel allow working with either mixed gasses or 100% CO2;
• selecting the manual working mode, it is possible to modify the welding parameters;
• a dedicated control is provided for fine tuning the arc length.
